About Us

Villages of Hope, located in Jacksonville, Florida, is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to empowering brave women who have survived the traumas of sexual exploitation and addiction. Our mission is to provide a community where healing, restoration, and unconditional love can thrive. We believe every woman deserves the opportunity to heal and reclaim her life!

To amplify our impact, we have established partnerships with other organizations actively combating sexual exploitation. Through Connections 2 Hope, along with collaborations with Awakenings House and Grace Ministries of Helping Hands, our dream has begun to take shape. Awakenings House focuses on helping women overcome addiction by providing sober living arrangements, while Grace Ministries serves as a critical first point of contact for women on the streets or incarcerated, reaching out directly to those in need.

In 2019, we launched a pilot program in partnership with Thistle Farms from Nashville, TN, which offers a sisterhood program to organizations with shared missions and visions. This collaboration enabled us to develop essential operational tools, including manuals and program guidelines.

As we progressed, additional partnerships further strengthened our efforts. The Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center joined us to provide group therapy sessions and individual mentorship, while ReThreaded partnered to offer support and job opportunities for our women. In May 2021, we took a significant step by purchasing a small piece of land that will become the home of Villages of Hope.

Through the efforts and support of multiple organizations, Villages of Hope (VOH) and the Keiling Group held an official groundbreaking ceremony for 13 tiny homes on the westside of Jacksonville, FL, on July 27, 2023, at 10 AM. These homes will provide a long-term healing environment for women who have suffered from addiction and sexual exploitation. Villages of Hope partners with qualified providers to connect residents and community members to counseling, educational resources, and long-term care supports.
